A pair of giant panda bears have returned from Spain to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base in southwest China, where the three cubs they gave birth to during their stay at the Madrid Zoo will participate in a breeding programme. The pandas will be replaced by a new pair sent by the China Wildlife Conservation Association.
