Paul McCartney has given his opinion on Beyoncé’s version of “Blackbird”. The singer said: “I’m very happy with @beyonce’s cover of my song ‘Blackbird’. I think she does a great version and reinforces the civil rights message that inspired me to write the song in the first place. I think Beyoncé has done a fabulous version and I would encourage anyone who hasn’t heard it yet to give it a listen.
