Pfizer will set the price for COVID-19 treatment with Paxlovid at $1390 per course

Pfizer on Wednesday said it would set the U.S. price for its COVID-19 antiviral drug Paxlovid at nearly $1400 for a five-day course when the company moves to commercial sales after government stockpiles run out, detailing twice what the government currently pays for it.
