Philippines landslide death toll rises to 68 

The death toll from a landslide in the southern Philippines has risen to 68 as officials said Monday the window to search for survivors was closing. Rescuers were searching for 51 more people after the 6 February landslide, which collapsed near a gold mine in Mako town in Davao de Oro province and buried houses and vehicles that were supposed to ferry employees of the mining company.
