Poland beat China 2-0 to reach the semi-finals of the United Cup mixed team tournament on Wednesday after Hubert Hurkacz and Iga Sviatek swept their singles matches in Perth. The country, ranked first among the 18 taking part in the $10 million tournament, got off to a brilliant start as the prolific Hurkacz beat Zhang Zhizhen 6-3 6-4.
