Russian President Vladimir Putin has told Russians that peace with Ukraine will only come “when we achieve our goals.” He is holding his first major news conference since launching his first full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Mr Putin combined his annual “direct line” telephone conversation with Russians and an audience of journalists.
