Reusable packaging can reduce plastic emissions by 69%
Widespread adoption of plastic packaging return and reuse can help cut greenhouse gas emissions by up to 69%, an Ellen MacArthur Foundation study showed on Wednesday. Such schemes not only reduce companies’ emissions but can also cut costs for some products, according to the study, which covered more than 60 organisations including national governments and consumer goods companies.
