Filming has begun on the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Director James Bobin has announced that filming has begun on the new season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians The plot of the second season is based on the book Sea of Monsters. Disney renewed the series almost immediately after the first season was released.
