Three suspected cases of H5 avian influenza virus infection among poultry workers have been reported in Colorado. Three individuals experienced mild symptoms. The infections occurred in workers who were slaughtering infected animals at a poultry facility where the H5N1 avian influenza outbreak occurred, it said.
