Salmonella tests at melon plant in Mexico come back negative amid outbreak
Tests for traces of salmonella at a melon processing plant in Mexico came back negative amid an investigation into a deadly outbreak in the United States and Canada, Mexico said Tuesday. Mexican health officials ordered the plant in the northern state of Sonora temporarily closed in December and took samples from surfaces and water.
