Sanofi plans to invest up to $1.6bn in Germany
French drugmaker Sanofi is close to a decision to invest between 1.3 billion euros and 1.5 billion euros ($1.4 billion to $1.6 billion) in a large manufacturing site in Frankfurt, Germany, where it produces insulin under the Lantus brand, the Handelsblatt newspaper reported on Monday.
