Santander cuts 320 U.S. jobs due to digital transformation
Spanish bank Santander has cut around 320 jobs in the US as it seeks to focus more on digital operations, a source familiar with the situation said. The source said the eurozone’s second-largest bank by market value has laid off about 2.4 per cent of its total workforce of 13,489 employees at the bank’s group units in the US.
