For the first time since 2017, there will be a Brazilian driver in Formula One on a permanent basis after Sauber announced on Wednesday that 20-year-old Gabriel Bortoleto will join the future Audi team for 2025 and 2026. The Swiss team had earlier announced the departure of Finn Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guangyu, the first Chinese Formula One driver, at the end of the season in December.
