Colombian singer Shakira has been immortalised in her famous belly dancing pose in a giant bronze statue in her hometown of Barranquilla. The city’s mayor, Jaime Pumarejo, unveiled the 6.5-metre sculpture in a park on the banks of the Magdalena River, accompanied by the singer’s parents.
