American actress Shannen Doherty has died at the age of 53 after a long battle with breast cancer. Doherty rose to fame after appearing in the popular US series “Beverly Hills, 90210”, where she played the role of Brenda Walsh. In 1998 she also played Prue Halliwell in the mystical series “Charmed”.
