Shiffrin won the slalom and claimed her 90th World Cup victory
Mikaela Shiffrin of the United States claimed a record 90th World Cup victory on Sunday, winning the women’s slalom at Killington in Vermont. Shiffrin posted the best time in the first run and beat Olympic champion Petra Vlhova of Slovakia by 33 hundredths of a second with a total time of one minute 42.02 seconds in the only women’s World Cup event on U.S. soil.
