South Africa’s health regulator said on Saturday it was recalling batches of Johnson & Johnson’s baby cough syrup after high levels of diethylene glycol were detected. The statement added that the affected batches were sold to South Africa, Eswatini, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria.
