South Korea’s LG Chem will invest $820m to build a cathode battery plant in the US
South Korea’s LG Chem announced that it will invest $820 million to build a battery cathode materials plant in the US state of Tennessee. Last year, the South Korean petrochemical manufacturer announced plans to invest more than $3 billion by 2027 to build the plant.
