Stockholm will ban cars with gasoline and diesel engines from entering key parts of the city centre from 2025 as it aims to improve air quality and reduce road noise, the Swedish capital’s vice mayor for transport said Tuesday. The plan calls for the creation of an eco-zone in 20 blocks of central Stockholm, covering upmarket shopping streets and some of Sweden’s most expensive office developments.
