Sweden cuts flight tax despite admitting it would increase emissions
The Swedish government reduced the flight tax and the measure is expected to reduce airfares by SEK80 (£5.93) on European flights and by SEK325 (£24.09) on flights outside Europe. Following the move, campaigners have accused the government of doing ‘everything in its power to stop climate action’.
