More than 200,000 prescriptions for copies of Novo Nordisk’s weight-loss drug Wegovy are purchased by patients in the US each month, an industry group said in a letter to the US drug regulator, saying it should consider their role in alleviating supply shortages of obesity drugs before banning them.
