The fires in northeastern Argentina are out of control
Nearly 800,000 hectares of the province of Corrientes in northwestern Argentina have been devastated by forest fires. Due to the fires, 785,238 hectares of land were burned, which is 9% of the province’s area. A large number of wild animals suffered from the fire. Many of them were burned or poisoned by smoke.
