The JN.1 variant accounts for 39-50% of COVID cases in the US
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the agency projected that COVID subvariant JN.1 accounted for 39% to 50% of cases in the United States as of 23 December. This is an increase from about 15% to 29% of cases in the United States, the CDC projected as of 8 December.
