The meteorological agency says Indonesia’s dry season will be less severe this year
Indonesia’s dry season will be less severe this year compared to 2023, improving the country’s chances of fighting forest fires and crops, the country’s meteorological agency said on Friday. Last year’s dry season was the harshest since 2019 due to an El Niño weather phenomenon that lasted longer than usual, causing drought that damaged crops and worsened forest fires.
