The rains in the Dominican Republic have killed at least 21 people
Authorities in the Dominican Republic said Sunday that at least 21 people were killed in heavy rains the previous day that displaced thousands of residents. More than 13,000 people in the Caribbean were forced to move to safer areas after torrential rains flooded homes, caused power outages and damaged bridges and parts of roads.
