The Sopranos creator David Chase has criticised streaming executives, suggesting they are collectively making the medium less sophisticated. Speaking to The Times U.K., the Emmy winner claims that the quality of television is regressing, looking more and more like the era when he revolutionised the industry with HBO’s The Sopranos in 1999.
