The U.S. CDC and Prevention plans to do away with the five-day isolation from COVID
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plans to drop its five-day COVID-19 isolation recommendations under new guidance planned by the agency, the Washington Post reported Tuesday. The health agency plans to advise people who test positive for COVID-19 to call to find out when to stop isolation based on their symptoms.
