The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy have issued a notice of intent to help fund projects aimed at reducing methane emissions in the oil and gas sector. The notice was issued to give applicants ample time to prepare their proposals and establish partnerships, if necessary, in anticipation of the upcoming release of a funding opportunity announcement, the agency added.
