The world’s largest captive crocodile Cassius has died in Australia
A 5.48-metre Australian crocodile that held the world record as the largest crocodile in captivity has died. It was believed to have been more than 110 years old. Marineland Melanesia Crocodile Habitat said on its Facebook page that Cassius, who weighed more than one tonne, had been in declining health since October 15.
