Thousands left without power in Washington State
Tens of thousands of homes in Washington state were without power as northern California and the Pacific Northwest began to feel the effects of a powerful atmospheric river event, officials said. The storm could bring up to 38 centimetres of rain and heavy snowfall in the mountains.
