TikTok joins Meta in appeal against EU gatekeeper status

TikTok on Thursday joined Meta in challenging its “gatekeeper” status under the Digital Markets Act, an EU law that imposes stricter rules on tech companies and makes it easier for them to operate to allow users to move between competing services.
