Uganda confirms two more cases of mpox
Two more cases of mpox virus infection have been confirmed in Uganda, bringing the number of cases in the East African country to four. Henry Mwebesa, director general of health services at the health ministry, told Reuters that the two new patients were infected with the clade 1b strain of the virus.
