UK-based Octopus to build first wind farm in Sierra Leone in partnership
UK-based Octopus Energy said on Thursday its generation division has partnered with Sherbro Alliance Partners to build the first wind farm in Sierra Leone in 2024. The $7.5 billion Octopus clean energy projects cover 15 countries in Europe, Asia and Australia. This partnership marks Octopus’ first step in developing renewable energy in Africa.
