UK regular pay grows at slowest pace in two years
UK wage growth excluding bonuses fell in the third quarter to its slowest level in more than two years, which could boost the Bank of England’s confidence that inflationary pressures will continue to ease. Average weekly earnings were 4.8% higher in the three months to the end of September than a year earlier, down from 4.9% a month earlier and almost 8% a year earlier.
