UN warns that production of hazardous waste could rise sharply
By 2050, the amount of waste produced by people will increase dramatically, leading to hundreds of billions of dollars in damages due to biodiversity loss, climate change and deadly pollution, the United Nations Environment Programme said in a report Wednesday.
