US approves export of advanced AI chips to UAE as part of Microsoft deal
The US government has approved the export of advanced artificial intelligence chips to Microsoft’s facility in the United Arab Emirates as part of the company’s closely watched partnership with Emirati artificial intelligence firm G42, Axios news agency reported on Saturday, citing two people familiar with the situation.
