Demand for Novavax’s COVID-19 vaccine was underwhelming in the core countries of the European Union during the initial rollout. More than 85% of adults in the 27 EU countries have received at least one dose, and almost two-thirds of them have also received a booster, but tens of millions remain unvaccinated.
