Van Gogh’s Starry Night recreated in the Bosnian hills
Amidst the green hills and meadows of central Bosnia, Halim Zukic, a local entrepreneur, recreated one of Vincent van Gogh’s most famous paintings, The Starry Night, in the form of a nature park. To recreate the painting, 130,000 lavender bushes were planted in six different shades, as well as other medicinal and aromatic herbs, forming colourful circles, spirals and natural amphitheatres.
