Walgreens Boots received $992m after cutting its stake in Cencora for the third time
US pharmacy chain Walgreens Boots Alliance said it had reduced its stake in pharmaceutical distributor Cencora, for the third time in just over six months, generating about $992m in proceeds. The revenue includes about $942 million from shares sold, as well as about $50 million from a simultaneous share repurchase by Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen).
