Wendell Pierce has been cast to play Perry White, the iconic editor-in-chief of The Daily Planet, in James Gunn’s Superman. David Corenswet plays Superman and Rachel Brosnahan plays Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane. The new feature film began shooting in Atlanta on Thursday.
