Just one day after Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio announced Sony Pictures’ casting call to find the next Karate Kid, the studio has already received more than 10,000 applications. Jonathan Entwistle will direct the film from a script by Rob Lieber, with Karen Rosenfelt producing.
