Adam Fox scored 36 seconds into overtime as the New York Rangers advanced to the playoffs with a convincing 6-5 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Flyers. Fox brought the Rangers their eighth win in 10 games when he took a pass from Vincent Trocheck and fired a shot from the middle of the slot over the right arm of Philadelphia goalie Samuel Ersson for his 15th goal of the season.
